Love is a many splendored thing. . .

Okay, you saw the title. I hope you hear that song playing in your head as you look at this first picture.

This was an attempt at the serious look which ended in many giggles.

Why so serious? Oh, because I told you to be.

For some reason this spot reminds me of the Lion King. Pride Rock to be exact.

If you look back at the top picture, this is David's first attempt at dipping Megan back for a romantic kiss!

I love this picture of Megan's beautiful ring!

Oh no! David's going to dunk his under-the-weather bride-to-be in the frigid waters of Lake Michigan?

This is me breaking the rules of photography and using my own shadow in an attempt to block the sun and create flattering light. But Megan and David STILL look good.

A lot of photographers are doing this thing where they focus on the face of one person in a pair and the other is blurred out. I was trying to decide if I like that. . . Megan looks gorgeous but I feel like David is left out.

Telling secrets. Probably, "When do you think Sarah is going to let us go home?"

Aww. Aren't they cute!

I love Megan and David. They are so much fun and they were REALLY nice to let me take "practice" engagement pictures of them (it was more practice for me since they are already very, very photogenic). They had lots of fun ideas for posing in front of the camera- including jumping off cliffs, spinning Megan until she almost passed out, and pretending to beat each other up. Poor Megan had a nasty cold which made her voice an octave lower than David's but she still put up with a good chunk of time outside with a beautiful smile on her face the whole time. Run-on sentence. Thank you Megan & David!! I'm pretty sure your real engagement session will turn out awesome if this is any indicatoin : )
